Climate needs
For balanced growth and optimal yield of eggplant, the plant requires a lot of heat and is not tolerant to frost. With temperatures below 16 ºC, eggplant begins to show symptoms such as poorly formed fruits. Therefore, during the day, the seeds germinate optimally at high temperatures, ranging from 24 to 32ºC. Fruit setting requires temperatures above 15ºC, and fruit development and growth occur between 20 and 30ºC.

- Setting at more than 15 ºC
- Fruit ripening 20-30 ºC
Irrigation
Although eggplant is somewhat tolerant of periods of dry soil, it is a water-demanding plant. The optimal thing is that it always have moist soil throughout its production cycle, without reaching waterlogging and saturation.
